The Fieldpiece SC680 True-RMS AC/DC Job Link System Wireless Swivel Head Power Clamp Meter is packed with everything needed to install, service, and troubleshoot any HVACR system. Whether working on small circuitry in mini-splits or on large commercial units, the SC680 offers an array of features for a complete meter. Wireless functionality for the HVACR professional is included in the SC680. Electrical measurements can be wirelessly sent directly to the Job Link System mobile app. Leave the meter behind a closed blower door and view the current measurement on a mobile device. Help determine system efficiency by directly measuring power consumption (W) of the system. This value can be used to inform the user's customer of energy saving measures they can take to help them save money on their energy bills. The SC680 is also ideal for troubleshooting mini-split systems. Cramped mini-split connectors can be reached with the included RCT2 probe tips for voltage and resistance measurements. The dual type-K temperature ports allow for measurement of entering and exiting air temperatures. Frequency (Hz) can be measured directly with the clamp jaw. The order of 3-phase voltage lines can be verified with just two leads. Capture L1L2 and L1L3 to check that motor lines are correctly installed with the Phase Rotation test function. Take more accurate VAC and AAC readings on variable frequency drives with the True-RMS sensing technology. Measure the starting amp draw of a compressor with the Inrush current mode. The SC680 can be attached to any metallic surface with the heavy-duty magnet strap. Once the job is finished, test leads can be stored in the back case for tidy and convenient storage. View both voltage and amperage readings simultaneously on the big dual display. The user can view amperage readings no matter how the jaw is clamped around a wire with the swivel head design. Illuminate the way with a powerful LED built into the clamp jaw, easily view measurements with the bright blue backlight on the display, and safely change functions with the backlit illuminated dial. Take measurements more safely with one hand using the single test lead holder. Test leads come with removable gold plated tips to reliably connect Fieldpiece accessory heads (not included).
