Fieldpiece SC640 True-RMS AC/DC Swivel Head Clamp Meter with Backlit Dual Display and Magnetic Strap, 600VAC/VDC, 400AAC. The Fieldpiece SC640 True-RMS AC/DC Swivel Head Clamp Meter is packed with features and measurements for use in the HVACR industry. The loaded SC640 features lead storage, a swivel head, a test lead holder, a heavy-duty magnetic strap, jaw flashlight, and a backlight on the dial so the user can easily choose the right measurement in poorly lit spaces. The SC640 hosts all the electrical measurements HVACR pros use everyday, along with features like True-RMS, Inrush current, capacitance, temperature, duty cycle, and microamps DC. The top-of-the-line SC640 clamp meter helps HVACR professionals do more everyday. The SC640 can be attached to any metallic surface with the heavy-duty magnet strap for hands-free operation. Both voltage and amperage readings can be viewed simultaneously with the dual display that features a bright blue backlight for reading in low-light conditions. The single test lead holder enables added safety and the automatic clamp jaw light allows the user to easily view the wire that needs to be tested. The user can view amperage readings no matter how the jaw is clamped around a wire with the swivel head design. More accurate VAC and AAC readings on VFDs can be obtained with the True-RMS sensing technology of the SC640. With the Inrush current feature, the user can measure the starting amp draw of a compressor. The SC640 is built to withstand the rigors of HVACR service with the high-impact plastic construction and display able to be read in both hot or cold environments. The high temperature resistance allows the user to move from a cold freezer to a hot rooftop and still obtain accurate temperature measurements.
