Fieldpiece ATA1 Type-K Alligator Clip Thermocouple, -50°F to 400°F (-46°C to 204°C) Range. The Fieldpiece ATA1 Type-K Alligator Clip Thermocouple can clip to HVACR equipment for convenient placement and hands-free testing. For accurate outdoor dry bulb measurement and for finding target superheat, the unit can be clipped to condenser fins. For accurate indoor dry bulb measurement and for finding target evaporator exit temperature, the unit can be clipped to evaporator filters. For accurate dry bulb supply temperature, the unit can be clipped to supply vents. The ATA1 can be used with any of the Fieldpiece meters that measure temperature or any thermometer accepting a Type-K thermocouple. The ATA1 is ideal for HVACR technicians when data logging or any time that an extra hand is needed. The wrap-tab allows the thermocouple wire to conveniently be stored on the plug by wrapping the excess wire around the wrap-tab. This convenient storage option avoids tangled messes in the user's tool bag.
