Extech EX840A 1000A True RMS AC/DC Clamp Meter with IR. The Extech EX840A is a 1000A True RMS AC/DC clamp meter with a built-in infrared (IR) thermometer and laser pointer for non-contact temperature measurements. Its key features include accurate readings in noisy environments with its Low Impedance (LoZ) mode and Low-Pass Filter, an inrush current function, a large 6000-count backlit LCD display, and a CAT IV-600V safety rating. The meter also has standard multimeter functions like resistance, capacitance, frequency, and Type K temperature measurements.
