Defelsko PosiTector SPG [SPG CS1] Standard Surface Profile Gauge With Cable Probe PRBSPGCS-B For Textured Coatings, 0 – 1500 μm (0 – 60 mils). The Defelsko SPG Surface Profile Gauge is a digital depth micrometer that measures and records the height of surface profiles from peak to valley. The SPG is ideal for applications involving blasted steel (integral probe and cable), textured coatings, and concrete profiles. The gauge is weatherproof - resistant to water, dust, oil, solvents, and acids. The probe also features an alumina wear face and tungsten carbide tip for sustained accuracy and long service life. The tip is field replaceable. The PosiTector SPG is ruggedly designed for indoor/outdoor use in the shop and field. This gauge is ideal for measuring in-place rather than dragging a probe across the surface. The SPG Surface Profile Gauge is available in Standard and Advanced models, with the user’s choice of integral or cable probe. Built-in temperature compensation ensures measurement accuracy. In Statistics mode, the meter continuously displays and updates the average, standard deviation, min/max depth, and number of readings while measuring. A sealed USB port allows for PC connection and continuous power supply. The meter can quickly and accurately measure large surfaces due to its fast measurement rate of over 50 readings per minute. PosiTector SPG complies with ASTM D4417-B, ASTM D8271 (SPG TS only), AS 3894.5-C (with optional 30° tip), U.S. Navy NSI 009-32, SANS 5772, and others.
