DeFelsko PosiTest PC [KITPCDFTF] Powder Inspection Kit With PosiTest DFT Ferrous With PosiTest DFT Ferrous offer a complete solution for measuring powder coating before and after curing. The PosiTest PC Powder Checker utilizes non-contact ultrasonic technology to measure uncured powder coatings and predict a cured thickness. The PosiTest PC is available for purchase separately as well as with the inspection kit. The PosiTest PC conforms to ASTM D7378 standards. Inspection Kits also include user's choice of thickness gage and probe to facilitate complete inspections of powder coatings. The PosiTect PC has 1 and 2 point calibration adjustment options for improved accuracy on unusual powders or substrates. Measurements on small tubes, odd shapes, and moving parts are also easier thanks to improved sensor technology. The PosiTest PC's Scan Mode takes measurements continuously, which is ideal for analyzing large areas. So there is no risk of disturbing the applied powder, the Powder Checker does not have a cable. It is also water, dust, solvent, oil, and acid resistant to better withstand harsh powder coating environments.
