The CPS Products UV55 Tech-Set UV Leak Detection Kit helps conduct a fast, easy, mess-free air conditioning "leakdown" test whereby an orange, universal dye is injected into a closed (sealed) A/C system under full pressure. The orange dye will be visible under a "correctly tuned" ultraviolet light at the point of a leak anywhere in the system.

The included MoonLight flashlight is a compact and efficient ultra violet light. It contains nine high intensity, true ultraviolet LEDs engineered to maximize the fluorescing capabilities of today's most commonly used detection dyes in AC systems, while reducing the amount of "nuisance" background blue light emitted. Moonshine glasses, when used in conjunction with the MoonLight flashlight, block the remaining amount of visible blue light, which provides an ideal means of viewing a fluorescing dye that might leak from closed, pressurized AC system, indicating where a repair is needed.
