The BK Precision DRGL GPIB/LAN Card is designed for use with the 9170 or 9180 Programmable Dual-Range DC Power Supplies (not included). This card will upgrade the main unit so that GPIB and LAN interfaces are possible. With the DRGL installed, the main unit is provided with a built-in Web server that allows users to configure, control, or monitor the basic settings of the main unit from a remote computer via a Java-enabled Web browser. To view the web control page, the user simply needs to connect to the user-defined IP address. SCPI commands can also be sent through the Web server interface. The installation of the DRGL also enable Telnet interface in which the main unit can be controlled with SCPI commands via a Telnet connection over the Ethernet interface. Any computer with a Telnet client can be used to control the power supply.
