The Benchmark Scientific D2400RE BeadBlaster 24R Refrigerated Microtube Homogenizer for 24 x 3ml, 230V completely lyses, grinds and homogenizes a broad variety of biological samples. A powerful refrigeration system protects heat sensitive samples during homogenization. The D2400-R-E's stainless steel tube carrier subjects up to 24 samples to an optimized, high speed, 3D motion, producing high energy impacts between the samples and micro-beads to release cellular contents. After processing samples can be centrifuged and the lysate removed with a pipette. Operating parameters for the D2400-R-E Bead Blaster 24 are set and displayed digitally. Up to 50 homogenization profiles can be stored in memory and recalled for future use. A mechanical lid lock prevents opening the lid while the D2400-R-E is in operation. A powerful compressor maintains chamber temperature while the brushless motor reduces motor noise and provides maintenance free operation.
