High moisture content may result in rapid bacterial growth and chemical oxidation which generates heat and, in some cases, fire. It may also result in deterioration, rot, and infestation. One-step push-button operation gives immediate and direct digital readout of moisture percentage or temperature. Fully calibrated - no adjustments necessary. Moisture range: 14%-45%; ±1% accuracy. Temperature range: 33°-250° F (accurate readings in 60 seconds). Lightweight and completely portable. Operates on a 9V alkaline battery (included). Probe has a rigid handle for secure grip.
