Checkline TI25MX [TI-25MX] Ultrasonic Wall Thickness Gauge Complete Kit With T-102-3300 Probe. The TI-25MX wall thickness gauge has been especially developed for exigent industrial environments, including applications such as non-destructive testing of corrosion, pitting on pipes, tanks, boilers and glass to cite a few. The housing, made of extruded aluminum, is shockproof and sealed against environmental influences (IP65). Moreover, this high performance device comes with a waterproof probe.The TI-25MX combines the best features of the TI-25SX, such as selecting from 8 preset sound velocities as well as two programmable sound velocities and the free adjustment of the speed of sound via the keypad (with the calibration of the device to samples with known thickness measures). In addition, a 2-point calibration of two material samples of a known thickness can be made to improve accuracy over a wide bandwidth. The optimal speed of sound is automatically calculated to ensure the best accuracy and linearity.The sound velocity, which can be set directly at the unit from 305 to 18,542 m/s, allows the wall thickness of more than 40 materials to be determined quickly and precisely. The measuring range: 0.63 - 150 mm (up to 914mm depending on the probe and material) with a resolution of 0.01 mm make the TI-25MX a very versatile device.The TI-25MX also offers a surface scan in addition to a single-measurement mode. In scan mode, the probe can be guided over a large surface. The smallest measured value recorded during the scan is displayed on the backlit LCD screen .The TI-25MX high-performance wall thickness gauge has a simple design with clearly arranged control buttons to perfectly suit a variety of users - from very experienced to less experienced.
