The The WIKA CTD9100-165 dry well calibrator is compact and lightweight, making it particularly suited for on-site calibrations. The calibrator combines a stable heat source with precision Pt100 temperature measurement. This enables industrial temperature probes to be calibrated even more efficiently. Regular monitoring of temperature probes helps to recognize failures promptly and shorten down times. The CTD9100-165 operates using Peltier elements and, as a result, can achieve testing temperatures below the ambient temperature. Due to their capacity for active cooling, they are often used in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and food industries.

The temperature dry-well calibrators of the CTD9100 series work with temperature-controlled metal blocks and interchangeable inserts. Thermometers are fitted into the calibrator using the inserts, which can be drilled to accommodate the thermometer's diameter. The calibration temperature can be very quickly controlled by using just two buttons on the controller. The actual and set temperature of the heating block are displayed simultaneously on a large 4-digit, high-contrast LC display, which virtually eliminates reading errors. The calibrator's block design has improved temperature homogeneity at the lower range, leading to smaller measurement uncertainties. The large insertion depth of 5.91in (150mm) considerably reduces heat dissipation errors.
