HMT368 Intrinsically Safe (Ex ia) Humidity and Temperature Transmitter for Pressurized Pipelines. The HMT368 is the top-of-the-line intrisincally safe transmitter for pressurized pipelines. In addition to displaying humidity and temperature readings, the HMT368 calculates dew point, absolute humidity, wet bulb temperature, and mixing ratio.The Vaisala HUMICAP® Humidity and Temperature Transmitter HMT360 series incorporates Vaisala’s 30 years of experience in industrial humidity measurement.
The transmitter has a large display for convenient monitoring of the reading and transmitter setting changes. For example scaling can easily be changed by the user.
Analog outputs are preset at the factory to:
Channel 1: 4…20 mA = -40...+100°C (-40...+212°F) Td
Channel 2: 4...20 mA = -40...+180°C (-40...+356°F) T
Safe operation with the entire transmitter in hazardous areas: Div I and II (USA, Canada), Categories 1G/Zone 0 and 1D/Zone 20 with protection cover (EU).
In order to achieve a safe installation, each 4-20mA output requires an external intrinsically safe electrical surge barrier. Surge barriers should be located outside the hazardous area in a general purpose electronics enclosure. Each 4-20mA loop will require a separate barrier.
