The Telaire Ventostat series carbon dioxide detector is a commercial-grade unit designed for Demand Controlled Ventilation (DCV) in buildings. This approach, which uses CO2 levels as an indicator of occupancy, allows ventilation based upon actual occupancy while still maintaining ASHRAE recommended per-person ventilation rates. By using any model of Telaire Ventostat Series carbon dioxide detector, over-ventilation of buildings can be reduced to save energy costs while still maintaining the highest standards of air quality. The Telaire Ventostat series carbon dioxide detector is available in three configurations:
Telaire Ventostat T8100 T8100 models use a single channel sensor using Telaire patented ABC Logic for lifetime calibration. Single channel sensors are used in spaces where there is not full-time occupation (most applications).
Telaire Ventostat T8200 T8200 models use a dual-channel optical system and three-point calibration process for enhanced stability, accuracy and reliability. Used in applications where there is fulltime occupation 24 hours a day.
Telaire Ventostat T8300 T8300 models use a single channel sensor with pitot tube kit for duct measuring of CO2. ABC Logic enabled. In addition to differing models, the Ventostat also has a number of options available including enclosure size, scrolling display, humidity measurement, 0-5V output, BACnet output and enclosure color.
