The Spectra Focus 35 Series Robotic Total Station is a motorized surveying device that offers high-speed and accurate angle and distance measurements. It has a reflectorless range of up to 2,625 feet and measures up to 13,123 using a single prism. The Focus 35 has a built-in 128 MB RAM, 1 GB internal data storage, and an optical plummet for easy set-ups. Ideal for construction, geomarking, and other similar applications, this Spectra total station has 31x magnification and can take precise measurements from one to five seconds.
The Spectra Focus 35 features a dual-axis compensator with an accuracy of 0.5 seconds. It comes with a tracking sensor that uses the LockNGo FastTrack technology ensuring that the total station is constantly locked onto the prism. In addition, it has a GeoLock GPS-assist software and StepDrive motion technology that controls the sensor motions, eliminating the need for traditional motion locks. With an integrated 2.4 GHz radio modem, the Spectra 35 provides an interference-free communication link between the total station, range pole, and prism, making stakeout and topographic surveys a one-man job.
Powered by Spectra's Survey Pro field software, the Focus 35 robotic total station uses an onboard Windows CE touchscreen interface and alphanumeric keypad for easy navigation. It is designed to be controlled externally by the Ranger, Nomad, or T41 data collectors using Bluetooth wireless connectivity. This reflectorless total station has an IP55 environmental rating, making it dustproof and water-resistant. With its two Li-Ion batteries, it operates up to 12 hours.
