The Leica GPR Circular Prism is a durable tool that aids total stations in monitoring slope stability and offer great accuracy. It is mounted on metal holders for the best centering accuracy, stability, and longevity. With this prism the range of distance measuring, ATR and PowerSearch is increased by 30 percent. This prism also includes a target plate except for the basic type (GPR113).
The GPR Circular Prism comes in different types. The standard and basic types have a beam deviation of less than eight inches, a centering accuracy of two millimeters, and a measuring range of 2,500 meters. The Pro type, on the other hand, has a beam deviation of less than two inches, a centering accuracy of 1.0 millimeter, and a 3,500 working range.
This prism is made of high-quality glass and is furnished with optical coatings. The reflective surfaces of the prism have special anti-reflective coatings and a copper coating on the reverse side. These coatings protect the prism from dirt or condensation and allow it to withstand the most extreme environmental conditions.
