The Use the protection cap on the sharp end hook to pull the measuring wire straight out from the Digitech Tape holder. Avoid pulling the coated wire from the part close to the tape holder. Doing this may eventually cause the automatic wire retraction function to break. Use some caution not to cut your fingers on the hook!

Attach the Digitech Tape to the Digitech Professional and DP II terminal to measure log lengths.Without the need to read digits, scales or to calculate, the correct length can be measured and recorded in the computer memory with the press of a button. The Digitech Tape uses the caliper battery for energy supply and its display to feature measuring results. The Digitech Tape is a great help for log scaling and harvester calibration, and can also work as diameter tape together with the Digitech Professional or DP II Terminal only. 

The Digitech Tape measuring wire is made from several plaited metal threads, forming a strong, flexible but non-stretchable wire that is easy manageable and extends to approximately 7m or 23ft.
