The Aven Tools 26800B-507 Gemology Stand is designed for gemology applications with SSZ, DSZ and SPZ series microscopes. The stand has dimmable fluorescent and halogen lights as well as a halogen pipe light, which allows spot focusing of the light. The fluorescent light is adjustable and provides even illumination from the top. The halogen light illuminates the gem from the bottom, and the amount of light passing through can be controlled by adjusting the iris in the dark field attachment. The stand can be inclined from 0 to 10 degrees, and it is supplied with a rack and pinion focus mount.
