Cable Detection EZiCAT i600xf [519644] Cable & Pipe Locator

Cable Detections EZiCAT xf-Series locators provide operators with additional 512Hz and 640Hz tracing modes, enabling operators to trace buried utilities over greater distances or to easily detect sewer – camera inspection systems. Additional features include Mode Lock – the locator starts in the last mode of operation and Current Measurement, used to trace and identify services when using the EZiTEX signal transmitter and Extended sonde depth - depth readings to 10m.

The EZiCAT xf-Series locators are designed with an emphasis on long distance tracing and the detection of sewer - camera inspection systems. Two additional tracing frequencies, 512Hz and 640Hz, have been added to the xf-Series locators and signal transmitters, delivering a greater tracing range for ground surveyors and utility contractors.

Additional features such as Mode Lock, where the locator starts in the last mode of use and Current Measurement, used to identify utilities and potential faults, will provide operators with an effective solution for their surveying task.

GIS mapping via Bluetooth connectivity allows operators to seamlessly capture information about the utility they are surveying. The geographical position and utility depth can be captured; additional site notes and photographs can also be included, maximizing the survey process.

Large LCD Screen
The large high contrast LCD screen provides a clear, easy-to-understand display of the instruments readings and functions. The built-in light sensor automatically enables the backlight in dark conditions.

Depth Indication
The EZiCAT i550 features utility depth indication, when used in conjunction with the EZiTRACE or Sonde in 8 or 33 kHz modes. Operators can determine the depth of the buried utility through the LCD display.

In-built Test Function
The EZiCAT i-series features an in-built test function allowing operators to test the hardware and software functionality before use.

Hazard Zone
Buried utilities close to the surface pose a significant risk to site works. The new Hazard Zone function provides an additional warning to the close proximity of buried services, alerting users to the immediate danger.

Pinpoint Assist
Maintains the highest peak reading obtained on the signal strength indicator for a period of time, allowing the operator to quickly and accurately pinpoint the service position.

Enhanced Sonde Detection
EZiCAT i-Series feature numeric signal strength readout, specifically designed for easy Sonde location. The highest number displayed indicates the exact position of the Sonde beneath the ground.

Auto Mode
Automatically locates power or radio signals, helping to confirm the presence of services upon initial site occupation making cable detection easier and safer!

Signal Strength Indicator (SSI)
Enables the user to trace an individual service amongst a multiple of services. The numeric display shows the highest reading over the service which is connected to the EZiTX XF signal transmitter. This ensures the user can follow the service without straying onto another. The SSI mode can also be used to trace the Dual Frequency Sonde with ease.

Service Due Indicator
Supporting customer planned maintenance schedules or quality systems by displaying a wrench icon after 12 months.

Cable Detection EZiCAT i550XF
The EZiSYTEM XF range has been specifically designed with long distance tracing in mind. The ability to trace low transmitter frequencies (512Hz, 640Hz) provides a greater tracing range and the ability to locate camera inspection systems.
Combined with the upgraded EZiTX XF signal generator, the Cable Detection XF range makes locating underground utilities including power cables, street lighting, telecoms, conductive pipework and camera inspection systems easier than ever before, increasing your on-site safety and ultimately saving you time and money.

Enhanced Transmitter Modes
The Cable Detection EZiCAT i550XF features increased transmitter modes to allow the user to detect services at a greater range.
