Chauvin Arnoux Metrix MX 670 [MX0670] 1000V AC / DC TRMS Clamp Meter

This MX670 multimeter can measure voltages and resistances in addition to regular currents, which can be helpful if you are checking a system for safety or faults. For instance, if you suspect your fuse has blown, a reading of infinite resistance will confirm this. The MX670 meter can test the resistance of devices with a power rating of up to 10 kW.

The multimeter is easy enough to be used by an amateur, whilst remaining sophisticated enough to make the life of a professional easier. It works with the use of a 42mm clamp, which encompassing cables through which a current flows. All you need to do then is power up the meter via the click of a button and you’ll receive an accurate reading within seconds. You can even check the temperature within the cable to look for areas in which a hardware fault may lie.

A simple user interface is incorporated into the front of the multimeter, consisting of a number of buttons and a rotational switch with which you can switch between measurement functions. Below this is a bright digital display, which can be read even in dark environments.
